This work is a performative lockdown video. It deals with the imperfections of corporeality and existence. The artist sits at home in lockdown and is shaving peaces. Assembled fragmentary narratives reflect upon hair removal and additional challenges of women in this pandemic time - the lack of motivation when living alone, the insecurity, the overwhelm at home with the family and the lack of personal space. This performative video was produced by the artist in Autumn 2020 and shown at the performance festival “Performance Garten” in October in Cologne.
